Weapons of Self Destruction: A Guidebook for Women in the War Against Negative Internal Forces

I wrote this book because we have arrived at a point in time where the absence of women from the deliberative process must be addressed. Our presence must move beyond token representation in government, business, science, education, and religion.

This means moving beyond limited tasks that have been assigned to us and sharing in the decisions which affect our lives on a profound level. Society, in general, and the Black community, in particular, are in a crisis. Surely, we can all see that if the human condition is going to improve it can only happen in a world that is inclusive of both masculine and feminine expressions of God's Will.

The pervasive power of sexism has resulted in a failure to recognize and harness the energy and gifts of the female. At the same time, women must take some responsibility for accepting the disrespect and degradation we allow.

It is time for us to arm ourselves mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, to wipe out the enemy thoughts within us that are holding us back and costing our families their lives. Until the woman is free to exercise her creative ability, the human family will continue to deteriorate. Read more
